New Chapter Subcommittee Co-Chair: Jeanette Flannery

It is with great pleasure that we welcome Jeanette Flannery, RVT, RDMS as the new Co-Chair of the SVU Chapters Subcommittee. Jeanette has been working in the vascular technology profession for nearly 30 years. She has been a strong supporter of SVU’s government relations effort, public education on vascular disease, and an advocate of technology excellence. Jeanette brings to the position a wealth of knowledge and experience as an active member of the North Jersey Vascular Association (NJVA) and most recently as the Northeast Regional Advisor for SVU. Chapters Non-Conflict Meeting Policy Explained Related to 2008 SVU Education Program Schedule

Following is SVU's confirmed education program schedule for 2008 which includes two RPVI Exam Review Courses, two Vascular Ultrasound Interpretation Courses, a pre-Annual Conference Course, and the 2008 SVU Annual Conference.

Please note the following under the SVU Affiliated Chapters policy from the Educational Meetings section (page 5) of the SVU Chapters Kit:
SVU Affiliated Chapters are prohibited from scheduling an educational meeting either 30 days before or 30 days after the SVU Annual Conference, as well as 30 days before or 30 days after any SVU Interpretation course held in a chapter's geographic region. No exceptions." NOTE: This prohibition does not apply to the SVU RPVI Exam Review Courses as most of those attendees are physicians.
