Reminder to SVU Affiliated Chapter Presidents

Your Chapter’s 2007 SVU dues payment, your 2007 officers list, your current membership lists and copies of your Chapter Bylaws were all due in the SVU office on January 31.  If you still have items outstanding, please forward them immediately to Missi McLean in the SVU office at mmclean@svunet.org.  Thank you to those Chapters that have already submitted to SVU the required Chapter material for 2007.

SVU Annual Conference Chapters Breakfast

A Chapters-sponsored Breakfast is being planned for the SVU 2007 Annual Conference in Baltimore. This event will be an opportunity for interested persons to obtain information about established chapters in their area or how to organize a new chapter. Someone from each Chapter should plan to attend. Chapters also are invited to help sponsor the Chapter Breakfast by making a financial contribution to SVU in lieu of the Silent Auction this year.

Northern Ohio Vascular Association

Plans are underway for NOVA’s Spring meeting which will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2007. This will be a multi-vendor sponsored meeting and 5 CME’s are being applied for. 

The chapter will be hosting an “interesting study” lecture and is asking members to prepare interesting case studies to present at the meeting. Please contact Gene Doverspike for additional information by email at gene.doverspike@gmail.com.

Congratulations to NOVA Member (and Midwest Regional Advisor) Margaret Park who has had a Poster Abstract accepted by the American College of Cardiology (ACC) for their March 2007 symposium.
