Update on SVU Member Leif Penrose’s Sonography Teaching Assignment in Kigali, Rwanda

In the April 2008 e-Spectrum newsletter we reported on SVU member Leif Penrose who has taken a lease of absence from his job as Director of Ultrasound Programs at Coosa Valley Technical College, in Rome, Georgia, to travel to Kigali, Rwanda in Africa. He was invited as a guest of Terry Konn, PhD, RT(R), Senior Fulbright Scholar, and the Kigali Health Institute to assist in the training of radiographers in the practice of sonography for two months (May and June).
