CME Credits

All CME Certificates will be distributed at the end of the Current Issues Conference or when you leave. Credit hours only will be given for those hours that you attended the Conference.

For Physicians

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint sponsorship of Eastern Virginia Medical School and the Society for Vascular Ultrasound. Eastern Virginia Medical School is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Eastern Virginia Medical School designates this educational activity for a maximum of 11.75 AMA PRA Category I Credits™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

For Technologists/Sonographers

A total of 11.75 SVU-Continuing Medical Education (SVU-CME) credit hours are available on an hour-for-hour basis and may be used to fulfill the continuing education requirements necessary to retain your RVT credential with the ARDMS, your RVS credential with the CCI, or for your lab’s accreditation with the ICAVL or the AIUM.
