Thanks to our Student Volunteers at the 2008 SVU Annual Conference

Special thanks to the student volunteers from Grossmont College, El Cajon, CA, and the Oregon Institute of Technology, Klamath Falls, OR, who assisted the SVU staff with various responsibilities at SVU’s recent 2008 Annual Conference in San Diego.

Thank to the encouragement of Don Ridgway, vascular program director at Grossmont College, the following seven Grossmont students helped assemble the SVU annual conference briefcases for the attendees:

In addition, thanks to the encouragement of LeAnn Maupin, Vascular Department Chair and Associate Professor at the Oregon Institute of Technology, the following three OIT students helped staff the early morning tutorials to collect the tickets, distribute the handouts and collect the sign-in sheets:

Each of the student volunteers received a complimentary student registration to the 2008 SVU Annual Conference so that they could attend the various sessions and visit the exhibit hall to see the latest vascular ultrasound products and services. The SVU sincerely appreciates the valuable assistance of these student volunteers who helped make the 2008 Annual Conference a success.
